BioBlitz – 2017

On the shores of Long Island Sound at Tod’s Point in Old Greenwich, the UConn-Greenwich Partnership convened and supported a BioBlitz -- a 24-hour jamboree, open to the public, to discover and identify as many species as possible, and to communicate the excitement and importance of scientific discovery to the public.  Professor Tim Miller in the Department of Digital Media and Design at UConn produced and engaging and informative mini-film top document the event and the excitement that it generated.

The UConn-Greenwich Partnership is a collaboration involving The Center for Environmental Sciences & Engineering and Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology at UConn as well as the Shellfish Commission and Conservation Commission of the Town of Greenwich.
