Faculty Members

In support of its mission to promote multidisciplinary research, education, and outreach in environmental sciences, engineering, policy, and sustainability, CESE recruits and supports faculty members and graduate students from a wide variety of departments at the University of Connecticut.

Faculty members are associated with CESE in four main capacities:

  • The Executive Committee provides strategic and tactical guidance to the Director, and executes functions associated with Graduate Research Awards, Multidisciplinary Seminars, and Infrastructure Development.
  • Center Faculty Members represent scientists and engineers with salary support from the CESE.
  • Affiliated Faculty Members  include a diversity of scholars working in environmental sciences and engineering with interests in multidisciplinary approaches and transdisciplinary education.
  • The Environmental Council comprises environmental leaders and administrators from throughout the University.
